Responsibilities- Oversee warehouse, logistics, packaging, and unloading operations, ensuring safe and compliant handling of materials.
- Develop production and raw material purchasing plans consistent with forecast and MRP signals to achieve service goals at optimal inventory levels.
- Execute shipping plans daily, ensuring all deliveries are shipped and post‑goods issued.
- Maintain warehouse inventory record accuracy (99%).
- Serve internal customers with delivery of packaged goods and unloading of raw materials within established time fences.
- Drive down service and quality complaints (damages/lost freight).
- Accountable for managing and maintaining internal trailer fleet and demurrage costs within the established MOS.
- Implement process improvements to enhance reliability and improve productivity.
- Manage within budget and business conditions.
- Develop and coach team members, fostering a culture aligned with core company values.
- Ensure compliance with relevant certifications and regulations (e.g., DOT, IATA).
- Collaborate with plant operations, business leaders, and external partners.
- 5+ years of demonstrated track record of leading teams and delivering results in safety, cost, and service.
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in engineering, supply chain management, or sciences) or equivalent experience.
- Ability to develop and lead teams successfully.
- Ability to analyze data to make strategic business decisions.
- Ability to multi‑task and handle competing priorities.
- Strong communication skills—written and verbal.
- Positive attitude toward achieving defined targets.
- Problem‑solving skills and ability to implement change.
- Understanding of complexity in manufacturing, supply, and global operations.
- Experience with change culture.
- 10+ years of leadership, preferably operations management.
- Lean or Six Sigma training.
- Warehouse and/or packaging experience.
- CPIM or CSCP certification.
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional environment.
- Integrated supply chain experience, use of MRP tools (SAP), and understanding of WMS systems.
Base Pay Range: $126,500 – $185,350. The actual salary offered is determined by factors including education, experience, skill sets, and geography. Local geographic pay differentials may not be reflected in the above pay range and will be discussed with you by a member of the HR team when applicable. This role is eligible for incentive or sales variable compensation payments based on company performance and individual job performance.
