Senior Analyst

Under the management and direction of your Line/Project Manager, the role will involve:

• Interpret the key requirements of a client’s brief and understand at a high level how to respond
• Monitor and check work to ensure high quality standards. Identify and resolve initial mistakes without the need for intervention
• Invite and be receptive to feedback from other colleagues to improve
• Analyse and summarize large amounts of information and present it clearly, ensuring all relevant and accurate information is included
• Use original thought and initiative in solving issues and delivering work
• Contribute ideas to develop work in own area of specialism
• Work systematically to focus on the research goal

• Understand the needs and expectations of the client/s
• Understand any potential client issues and effectively elevate these to the relevant person for resolution
• Fully understand the various services offered by OCO
• Develop knowledge and awareness of the appropriate people in the company to direct sales opportunities

• Actively listen to others and adapt communication style as appropriate
• Effectively use both verbal and written communication methods
• Deliver presentations confidently
• Effectively plan and prioritise work to meet set deadlines for various projects

• Third level degree or equivalent professional qualification in Business, Economics, Geography (other disciplines will be considered where candidates can demonstrate core skills required).

• Previous experience in similar role
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines and set targets
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Up to date knowledge of and ability to locate key sources of information
• Ability to process large volumes of data
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven ability to work on own initiative with little direction from Manager
• Willingness to take on more responsibility
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve and identify creative solutions to challenges
• Experience working in inward investment and understanding of FDI processes highly desirable.
