Under the management and direction of your Line/Project Manager, the role will involve:
- Interpret the key requirements of a client’s brief and understand at a high level how to respond
- Monitor and check work to ensure high quality standards. Identify and resolve initial mistakes without the need for intervention
- Invite and be receptive to feedback from other colleagues to improve
- Analyse and summarize large amounts of information and present it clearly, ensuring all relevant and accurate information is included
- Use original thought and initiative in solving issues and delivering work
- Contribute ideas to develop work in own area of specialism
- Work systematically to focus on the research goal
- Understand the needs and expectations of the client/s
- Understand any potential client issues and effectively elevate these to the relevant person for resolution
- Fully understand the various services offered by OCO
- Develop knowledge and awareness of the appropriate people in the company to direct sales opportunities
- Actively listen to others and adapt communication style as appropriate
- Effectively use both verbal and written communication methods
- Deliver presentations confidently
- Effectively plan and prioritise work to meet set deadlines for various projects
- Understand when to raise any potential obstacles to relevant person internally
- Adapt to changing work priorities, circumstances and deadlines.
- Use initiative in seeking and taking greater responsibility
- Actively look for ways to help colleagues facing unique challenges
- Third level degree or equivalent professional qualification in Business, Economics, Geography (other disciplines will be considered where candidates can demonstrate core skills required).
- Previous experience in similar role
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines and set targets
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Up to date knowledge of and ability to locate key sources of information
- Ability to process large volumes of data
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to work on own initiative with little direction from Manager
- Willingness to take on more responsibility
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and identify creative solutions to challenges
- Experience working in inward investment and understanding of FDI processes highly desirable.
