Cambridgeshire with hybrid working
Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 (DOE), Plus Excellent Benefits Package
The Role:
Our client is a large engineering company working within a joint venture delivering Anglian Water’s capital investment programme valued at £1.2bn over the next five years.
This role is responsible for working closely with our SLT to provide full and high-quality support. You’ll be a key part in the organisation and co-ordination of the SLT, which will include responding to general queries, attending meetings, booking and scheduling team events, and managing diaries and calendars.
You’ll also have the opportunity to prepare and provide presentation material, including important stats, and support projects and programmes led by the SLT. This role may include some travel to provide support at meetings and on projects, and due to the nature of the role, a high level of confidentiality will be required.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting meetings & workshops by taking notes and capturing actions
- Drafting meeting agendas and preparing itineraries for meetings
- Supporting the SLT with planning, coordinating, and organising offsite team-building events and workshops
- Setting up new Vendors and liaising with accounts to raise Purchase Orders
- Building trusted relationships with the Senior Leadership Team by understanding business priorities and offering a pro-active administrative service
- Working closely with Director’s PA and providing cover as required
- Preparing presentations
- Updating SharePoint and our Intranet pages (Lighthouse) and team distribution lists
- Assisting with calendars, inboxes, and drafting responses as appropriate
- Scheduling, prioritising, and categorising internal/external meetings, co-ordinating meeting rooms, facilities, and refreshments
- Booking accommodation, travel arrangements, venues, and facilities as necessary
Experience:
- Previous administrative experience
- Experience in organising meetings and taking effective minutes
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office 365
- Ability to prioritise with strong organisation skills
