DESCRIPTION
Coordinates facilities changes and improvements; maintains relationships with various suppliers and vendors of services provided to the facility; communicates changes and improvements to affected facility occupants. Performs activities under moderate supervision. We are looking for a talented Facilities Associate/CDL Class A Driver to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate facilities changes and improvements.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors of services for the facility.
- Communicate changes and improvements to facility occupants.
- Coordinate with facilities management to schedule work and special projects.
- Consolidate suppliers and negotiate cost reductions.
- Coordinate furniture and office equipment vendor activities.
- Conduct needs analyses, plan and implement facility improvements.
- Review outcomes and report results.
- Create and manage purchase orders, approve invoice payments.
- Coordinate real estate and construction project implementation.
- Update, edit and print CAD layouts and master plans.
- Manage floor space and office space across all locations within the master plan.
- Coordinate installation of communications equipment with internal and external suppliers.
- Participate in improvement processes and audits to enhance procedures.
- Oversee driving duties as a CDL Class A Driver: daily deliveries to customer sites, schedule pickups, coordinate with facilities.
- Manage fleet vehicle DOT and PM tracking and scheduling with vendors, including damage tracking and repair scheduling.
- Assist with HSE compliance tasks: daily, weekly and monthly inspections.
- Maintain lanes and inventory in parts and warehouse operations.
- Valid CDL Class A license with Passenger endorsement.
- Current clean driving record (5‑year motor vehicle report free of major violations).
- Knowledge of FMCSA drug and alcohol testing requirements and DOT regulations (Hours of Service, electronic log device).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation physical.
- Minimum of some relevant work experience in facilities/delivery or warehouse operations.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally and wear required PPE.

- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience.
- CDL Class A license with Passenger endorsement.
- Valid DOT physical and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Intermediate level knowledge/options gained through education, training, or on‑job experience.
Physical Requirements
- Experience with inventory and warehouse/logistics processes.
- Ability to physically lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to maintain a neat and clean appearance at customer sites and Cummins facilities.
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
