Job Description
SOAR Transportation Group is a full-service transportation management provider and we are ready to expand our team! We are looking to fill a position on our team with a new Fleet Manager.

Position Requirements:
Ability to lead others, ability to influence othersAbility to communicate well with others; ability to transfer knowledgeAbility to identify opportunities to increase efficiency and improve processes to obtain and maintain quality resultsAbility to solve problems and work in high-pressure situationsDetail-orientedComputer/keyboarding skillsKnowledge of the transportation industry is required.Responsibilities:
Lead and retain a designated fleet of driversEstablish a good working relationship with each driverWork with planning personnel to obtain loads for their fleet and dispatch driversManage driver availability to maximize the productivity of their fleetPerform A.M. and P.M. checks on trucks and note dailyPerform monthly driver reviews within the first 30 days of employment for experienced drivers in order to measure and record performanceManage driver performance and take proper disciplinary steps if necessaryKnow, support, and enforce company policiesManage service levels of 98% for on-time pickup and deliveryEnsure payroll accuracy for assigned driversAll other duties and projects as assignedQualifications:
Ability to lead othersKnowledge of the transportation industryAble to communicate in both writing and verballyProven ability to solve problems while working in high-pressure situations3 years of leadership experience within the transportation industry preferredExperience in McLeod is a plusAdditional Information:
