Yellow Iron Mechanic - Bluffdale

This position will require travel throughout the Utah area, but will be home every night. Heavy yellow iron experience preferred. Please text  for more information.

Kilgore, a Summit Material company, is looking for a Yellow Iron Mechanic. This position is responsible for maintenance and servicing of yellow iron equipment with or without direction from the Maintenance Supervisor or Head Mechanic.

• Perform mechanical and general appearance reconditioning of equipment.
• Identify and determine parts required for repair of disassembled units.
• Identify repairs and document them on repair orders.
• Maintain work area appearance and safety.
• Perform routine daily and preventative maintenance.

• Previous welding experience preferred.
• Previous experience as a mechanic preferred.
• 1+ years of Yellow Iron experience preferred.
