You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, remain highly visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and assist staff, patients, and visitors with courteous customer service. Using clear communication and teamwork, you will document observations and report concerns while living our agile, reliable, innovative approach and acting with integrity in a caring, people‑first culture.

- Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including medical facility disturbances, access concerns, and policy violations.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, badge and/or credential checks, and communication with site personnel as needed.
- Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate observations promptly to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
- Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Have customer service experience is preferred.
- Have CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Have a guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
