Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead production teams on the assembly line and machine row, including scheduling, task delegation, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Develop, maintain, and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity, reduce waste, and maintain high-quality standards.
• Train, mentor, and develop team members, including leads and temporary staff.
• Coordinate production priorities, monitor workflow, and ensure on-time completion of customer orders.
• Promote clear and effective communication across multiple departments.
• Report production metrics and operational issues to management.
• Assist with staffing needs, including hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning for additional equipment.
• Forklift Operations

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, including supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Standing:
  Up to 2/3 of the shift
• Walking:
  Up to 1/3 of the shift
• Must be able to frequently lift to 40 lbs. and occasionally lift to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to assist with team lifting of loads exceeding 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be able to stand for the entire length of the shift (up to 10 hours).
• Must be able to work in and around manufacturing and production equipment.
• Frequent climbing of ladders, bending, stooping, standing, walking, twisting, kneeling, and reaching.
• Must be able to see and hear, and acknowledge critical safety instructions, alarms, forklift traffic, and perform quality and equipment inspections.
• Must be able to sustain repetitive movement of both upper and lower extremities with varying degrees of force.
• Must be able to push and pull up to 100 lbs. of force regularly, including moving pallets, carts, glass/plastic sheets, and boxes using a hand truck or similar equipment.
