Post-Trip Inspector

Job Description

• Ace Disposal is looking for a truck inspector to perform post trips on DOT vehicles.
• Must attach current resume for application to be considered
• Entry level
• West Valley City location
• The Primary purpose of this job is to perform post-trip inspections on company vehicles to determine if any issues need to be addressed.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs plus:
  As well as being able to bend, walk and stand for long periods of time.
• The shift will be spent standing with frequent squatting, bending, reaching and twisting during inspections.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Starting wage $22/hour (This is a swing shift position only)
• $2.00 shift differential Pay in addition to the hourly wage listed above.
• Monday through Friday 1:30pm to 10:30pm with Overtime;
  Early Friday 11:00am to 8:00pm

• Must have a valid Driver's License and have a clean driving record
• Must be able to read and comprehend English well enough to understand instructions from a supervisor, communicate them to others, write and type new work orders.
• Must be able to operate a mobile device and desktop
• Must have attention to detail
• Good eyesight, hearing and depth perception are necessary.
• Must be able lift 50lbs.
• Trucks washed as needed.
• One year experience in maintenance duties is a plus
