Overview
As a millwork estimator, job duties include reviewing architectural drawings and blueprints, compiling project specifications and materials requirements, and procuring pricing for the woodwork required by the project.
ResponsibilitiesEstimator Responsibilities and Duties
Reports to Chief Estimator
Responsible for meeting Personal Estimating Goals
Responsible for attending department training sessions
Responsible for improving the quality of bids
- In conjunction with Chief Estimator, prior to submittal of bids, conduct bid review meetings to ensure quality and accuracy of bids
Be prepared to discuss in detail the Estimate and provide all relevant reports with regards to the project budgets
Budgets to be broken out by the following departments:
- Engineering
- Project Management
- Material
- Direct Labor (Millwork, Casework, Specialty, Finishing)
- Shipping
- Installation
- Other Indirect Labor (all other buyout/sub-subcontract items)
- Overhead
- Profit
Conducts themselves in a professional manner at all times.
Follows all rules and regulations set forth in the Employees Handbook.
QualificationsExperience 2+ years.
