Overview
Utah Housing Corporation (UHC) located in West Valley City, Utah is seeking a skilled and service-oriented, full-time, onsite Facilities & Administrative Services Manager to lead the effective operation of our facilities and administrative support functions. This leadership role is responsible for maintaining a safe, efficient, and high-quality physical environment while managing essential administrative services, vendor relationships, and a team of support staff.
Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and supervise administrative support staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Oversee the operation of administrative services such as mail, reception, document digitization, stationery, and office equipment, and develop policies and procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Manage office supply and equipment procurement, inventory control, vendor contracts, and building access and security systems, including badge issuance and control.
- Facilities management of building systems (HVAC, security, fire protection, landscaping, appliances).
- Prepare for and execute relocation to a leased space, with facilities management responsibilities evolving after the move.
- Troubleshoot and resolve facility-related issues, coordinate maintenance and repairs with vendors, manage security systems and emergency response protocols, and ensure OSHA/UOSH compliance including health and safety programs and the Emergency Action Plan.
- Monitor custodial services to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards, and manage facilities and administrative budgets.
- Vendor and contract management: maintain and negotiate contracts, obtain competitive bids per procurement policies, monitor vendor performance, and foster strong relationships.
- Serve as primary on-call contact for after-hours facility emergencies and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws; perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma and at least two years of college coursework or equivalent experience and/or certifications.
- Minimum four years of experience in facilities maintenance and administrative management; supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); ability to use and maintain basic hand and power tools; strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated DIY experience; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Valid Utah driver’s license and eligibility to operate a company vehicle.
Salary: between $65,978 to $86,297 annually, based on education and experience.
