- Applied Signal Technology: WHO WE ARE
- Participate in the requirements, design, development and testing of software to include development of new work products or enhancement of existing applications and systems
- Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions
- Participate in internal review of software components and systems
- Collaborate with project managers and other professionals within Engineering
- Follow established development practices and processes to maintain the configuration management of software products
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience in one of these areas: telecommunications, data communications, wireless communications, communications protocols, networking protocols, cyber security, digital signal processing, SIGINT or COMINT
- Strong emotional intelligence skills (i.e. self-awareness, self-management, empathy, social awareness, relationship management)
- Coaching, teaching and/or mentoring skills
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Excellent organizational, planning, and coordination skills
- Experience leading a technical team (e.g. in the role of task lead)
- Experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Strong engineering development discipline and process advocacy
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Practical experience in all phases of the software/system/product development lifecycle
- Product development experience in one or more of these areas: telecommunications, data communications, wireless communications, communications protocols, networking protocols, cyber security, digital signal processing, SIGINT and/or COMINT
- Experience in creation or improvement of engineering development processes
- Excellent track record for working effectively and collaboratively in a multi-faceted team environment.
