: 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD.
Typical job functions for the Infrastructure Engineer I include participation on collaborative, cross-disciplined integrated product teams, often employing agile software development techniques and tools to plan, design, develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions. Responsibilities span the full lifecycle of product development, from architecture and design, through integration, flight test, and field support.
What You Will Do- Work on complex technical problems and provide solutions which are highly innovative while participating on collaborative, cross-disciplined integrated product teams.
- Once cleared, work on actual field deployments of the product under development, ensuring proper setup, configuration, and functionality of systems being deployed.
- Work will be performed with guidance of a product lead and team members who will assist in establishing an approach, perform code review and support in testing to achieve long‑range goals and objectives.
- Strategies for effective and professional collaboration within a team‑oriented development setting, utilizing structured engineering methodologies.
- Master effective Dev Ops practices by gaining proficiency in coding languages, managing servers and networks efficiently, and handling system setup and configuration.
- Techniques for designing and maintaining complex Linux‑based systems.
- Exposure with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, Python, BASH, and Ansible.
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Experience with Linux and scripting languages.
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
- Experience with networking protocols.
- Experience with System Administration.
- Experience with Configuration Management tools, such as Puppet, Chef, or Salt.
- Experience verifying and validating the software and system work as intended.
- Ability to work non‑traditional hours, and weekends as needed.
- Experience with networking concepts such as OSI model.
- Experience with C/C++ or other object oriented programming languages.
- Experience with or basic understanding of telecommunications systems concepts and/or signal processing.
- Experience with distributed or networked systems.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerized systems.
- Existing security clearance w/Poly (Active within the last 24 months).
