Backfill Trackhoe Operator - Kilgore Contracting​/Quikrete - Salt Lake

SUMMARY

Kilgore Companies, a Quikrete company, is looking for a Trackhoe Operator in Salt Lake County.

In this position you will primarily be responsible for safely operating a trackhoe to excavate trenches, pull trench boxes, backfill, demo concrete and asphalt roadways, properly grade ponds and other excavations, and load materials in a variety of heavy construction operations.

• Operate a trackhoe to excavate trenches, pull trench boxes, and grade in heavy construction operations.
• Maintain equipment so that they are kept in good working order and are safe for use.
• Perform daily routine maintenance on the machine including lubrication and monitor needed repairs/service requirements.
• Operate other construction equipment as required.
• Perform a variety of general labor tasks as required for the job.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including equipment you operate.
• Other duties as required.

• 2-3 years previous experience operating a trackhoe required
