Bookkeeper/ Accounting Clerk, Accounting Assistant
Summary
This is a temporary, entry-level position requiring the employee to perform a wide variety of credit and customer service functions for the accounting department. Position is projected to last approximately 6 to 10 months.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Position will interact with dispatch, sales, and billing to resolve customer issues as they may arise.
- Position will require the employee to research accounts with disputes and make the appropriate adjustments.
- Prepare ticketed material sales for invoicing.
- Must perform customer service, research, and correct any inaccurate invoicing.
- Maintenance of files.
- Other duties as assigned per supervisor.

Qualifications- Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or GED required. One to two years related experience and/or a combination of both. - Language
Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. - Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. - Computer
Skills:
Ability to type and use keyboards accurately and have knowledge of database software, internet software, order processing systems, spreadsheet software, and word processing software. - Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, climb, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move from 10 to 50 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
This is a full-time in-office position. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions; and extreme cold and/or heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
