Maintenance Assistant

Overview

Maintenance Aide. Pay: $18-$22 per hour. Southview Acres Health Care Center is seeking a full-time Maintenance aide to join the team! The Maintenance Aide is responsible for maintaining the grounds of the facility and perform regular maintenance tasks.

• Carrying out timely preventative maintenance on all equipment
• Informing the maintenance director of any safety concerns
• Use proper care and use of equipment and waste disposal procedures in accordance with corporate policies and procedures
• Working cooperatively with Residents, staff, volunteers, and families to ensure Residents are receiving the best quality care.
• Proper infection control

• High school graduate or GED required.
• Previous maintenance or construction background preferred.
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and construction required.
• Able to follow written and oral directions.
• Possess the ability to communicate effectively and deal tactfully with personnel, Residents, families, and visitors.
• Boilers License Preferred.
