Elementary Teacher (2026‑2027)Saint Bernadette Catholic School, a parochial PreK‑8th grade school, is seeking a full‑time teacher to join our team for the 2026‑2027 school year. The role includes specifying learning objectives, implementing the Diocesan curriculum using a variety of research‑based teaching strategies, and evaluating student progress.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Diocesan curriculum.
- Use research‑based teaching strategies to support student learning.
- Assess and document student progress.
- Maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
- Virginia state licensure or ability to obtain VCEA certification.
- Strong classroom management techniques.
- Effective communication skills.
- Passionate about education and love for students; devotion to Catholic faith.
