West Springfield, MA – PT Mon/Wed/Fri 10a-3p; 15 hr/wk, Dementia care, personal care, male caregiver, start ASAP. May take on more clients to achieve desired number of weekly hours.
We have a sweet couple in West Springfield who is in need of a male caregiver to start ASAP. Mr. K is in the early stage of dementia and his wife is looking for a caregiver who can help ASAP for her to go back to work. They’re looking for a male to provide standby assists with personal care (showering, dressing), reminders and cues to complete daily tasks, as well as emotional support with this diagnosis.
The schedule is Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 10am-3pm. Please consider helping this nice couple while earning some income!

Responsibilities- Provide standby assistance with personal care (e.g., showering, dressing) and daily routines
- Offer reminders and cues to complete daily tasks and provide emotional support
- Assist with dementia care in an early-stage setting
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, mobility assistance and transfers
- Light housekeeping and transportation to appointments
- Provide companionship and support to clients and families
- Maintain schedule flexibility and adapt to client needs
- At least 1+ years of experience in direct care, nursing students, or newly certified
- Experience with personal care and dementia care preferred
- Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English; able to communicate verbally with clients, families, co-workers, and administrative staff
- Reliable transportation and a current driver s license
- Two valid forms of identification
- Willing to submit to background checks
- At least 2 professional references (not friends)
- Willing to accept at least 1 shift every weekend
We work with you to create a mutually acceptable work/client schedule. Work as much as 40 hours per week or as little as 4 hours per week. Flexibility is our best benefit!
