Truck Driver CDL B Regional

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Class B CDL Truck Driver in West Sacramento, CA — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

• Pay: $27.50 per hour
• Hours:
  
  40‑45 per week, Monday‑Friday
• Start time varies
• Paid training and 24/7 roadside maintenance for trucks 36 months or newer

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test, background check and DOT physical
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements (Class A or
  
  B)
• Experience:
  
  9 months within 3 years, 2 years within 5 years, or 5 years within 10 years
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions, read, interpret and apply laws and regulations

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detect, eliminate, or minimize safety hazards and maintain accurate records and logs
• Load and unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight as required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
