Field Service Technician II

Baxter is dedicated to saving and sustaining lives through innovative medical technology. As a Field Service Technician II, you will independently repair lifesaving medical devices and deliver exceptional service to hospital and clinic customers.

• Perform electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic system troubleshooting and repair on assigned products.
• Use appropriate tools to make required adjustments and repairs.
• Provide on‑call coverage 24/7, including weekends and holidays, and visit customer accounts as needed.
• Load, unload and remove medical products weighing up to 1,680 pounds.
• Generate service revenue and complete activities required under service contracts.
• Safely operate a fleet vehicle or company car ranging from a cargo van to a 26,000‑pound truck.

• High School Diploma or GED (required). Technical or mechanical repair experience preferred.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• DOT physical card (required).
• Prior technical or mechanical repair work required.
• Applicable technical or trade school training preferred.
