Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Exercise a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when working with staff, projects, and proprietary information.
- Learn and assist with project pursuit activities by reviewing bid-related documents, including drawings, schedules, and specifications.
- Learn and assist with quantity takeoffs for materials included in the project scope.
- Support the preparation of material summaries, sketches, and documentation required for solicitation of vendor and subcontractor quotations.
- Assist with estimating field labor, shop labor, transportation, and vendor costs in coordination with relevant internal departments.
- Learn and assist with the preparation of accurate cost estimates, including clarifications and breakdowns as required.
- Support Product Management initiatives through design assistance, detailing, coordination, mockups, and cost studies.
- Assist with general estimating and administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong interest in construction estimating, engineering, or project management preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management (in progress or completed) is preferred.
- Strong desire to learn, collaborate, and contribute in a team-based environment.
Skills and Abilities:
- High level of curiosity and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Strong attention to detail while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Solid organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
