Controller / Senior Controller – Manufacturing – Your ImpactWorking directly with the CFO, you will lead day-to-day accounting operations and maintain full ownership of cost accounting and general ledger reporting.
Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team, including direct oversight of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and future hires as the department scales
Take full responsibility for the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accurate and timely GAAP-compliant financial statements — complete general ledger ownership
Prepare and present monthly financial reporting packages for executive leadership
Direct inventory accounting, manufacturing cost accounting, labor/material/overhead analysis, standard costing, and overhead rate calculations
Ensure accurate revenue recognition within a complex manufacturing environment
Lead cash management strategy, including forecasting and liquidity planning
Partner with the CFO on cash flow forecasting and financial planning
Build and strengthen internal controls and scalable accounting processes to support rapid expansion
Analyze production costs, gross margins, and operational efficiency metrics
Contribute to annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning
Prepare audit schedules and act as primary contact for external auditors
Identify and implement ERP and system enhancements to improve reporting accuracy and operational effectiveness
You bring:
Extensive manufacturing accounting experience (contract manufacturing / EMS highly preferred)
Deep expertise in cost accounting
Strong command of GAAP — you have owned the close process, overseen month-end, and led an accounting team with confidence
Experience preparing complete financial statements
Demonstrated team leadership and supervisory experience
You may also have:
Experience supporting manufacturing or OEM environments within aerospace, defense, medical, automotive, or electronics sectors
Public accounting background
CPA or CMA certification
Experience working within a public company or under SOX internal control environments (valuable as the company continues to grow)
Familiarity with JobBOSS ERP
Exposure to DCAA or DCMA audits / government contract accounting
Base compensation ranges from $165,000 to $195,000, depending on your experience and depth of manufacturing accounting expertise.

Compensation:
