You will conduct routine patrols and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobbies by checking identification, validating credentials, issuing temporary badges, maintaining visitor logs, and directing guests to approved areas.

+ Monitor incoming and outgoing vehicle and pedestrian traffic for the industrial location, including coordinating delivery and pickup access through established check-in and check-out processes.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related events and notifying site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and to identify hazards and/or policy concerns.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
