by providing typical LOGCAP services at two locations.
As the Food Service Manager, you will provide leadership and direction to all levels of food service personnel, including administrative and warehouse staff, ensuring effective planning, organization, and management of all aspects of food service in military dining facilities. You will be responsible for efficiently allocating resources to achieve the highest standards of service, meeting or exceeding client specifications.
This is an on-site position in West Point, New York. Not eligible for remote work. No relocation assistance nor uplift available .
Roles and Responsibilities- Monitoring food service standards and processes
- Managing budgetary constraints
- Meticulously completing relevant documentation
- Implementing and evaluating training programs
- Maintaining detailed documentation
- Ensuring strict compliance with client and company health and safety regulations
- Planning and overseeing the execution of special functions
- Possessing the expertise to evaluate and hire the right caliber of food service staff
- Being proficient in ordering rations in Military automated systems such as Stores and AFMIS
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Requires minimum 10+ years of documented military food service experience.
- Requires 5+ years previous recent experience in successfully managing all facets of food service and dining facility management.
- Ability to pass a Military Background Check for access to military installations.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Valid Real r’s license.
- Ability to obtain and maintain food service medical clearance.
- Provides leadership and direction to all levels of Food Service, Administrative, and Warehouse personnel in order to plan, organize, and manage all aspects of food service in a military dining facility.
- Proven experience supervising/managing multiple dining facilities supporting military patrons.
- Demonstrated leadership in planning, organizing, and managing a military food service operations.
- Ensure and promote compliance with client and company health and safety regulations.
- Ability to evaluate and provide on-the-spot corrections for Food Service staff.
- Implementation and evaluation of training programs for staff development.
- Thorough knowledge of Military regulations (Tri‑Service Food Code/TB Med 530) and policies.
- Possession of Serv Safe Manager certification.
- Capability to operate and provide service in austere locations.
- Oversight of special functions and events.
- Familiarity with AR 30‑22, DA PAM 30‑22, TM 4‑41.11, and TM 4‑41.12.

Hours:
40 - Basic Compensation Range: $101,000
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
