Security Officer - Badge Check Part-Time in West Point, GA — you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Learn more:  At an automotive location, you will act as an Access Control Officer, helping manage entry points, check credentials, and guide employees and visitors with professional customer service.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence that may deter security-related incidents, and document activity and report concerns. Bring integrity and teamwork to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative culture that puts people first.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, including greeting, directing, and answering questions at entry points.
• Control access to the location by checking identification and/or credentials, issuing temporary badges as authorized, maintaining visitor logs, and following sign-in and sign-out requirements.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian entry areas, coordinate delivery and pickup access per post orders, and report suspicious or unauthorized access attempts to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting actions taken, and supporting emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, and complete routine security-related reports and documentation according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
