2nd Shift - Material Handler Light Industrial West Point, GA Contract To Hire Feb 23, 2026

We are looking for Automotive Assembly and Manufacturing Associates to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in the manufacturing of quality products with minimal cost for scrap and re-work and with minimal delay by the use of inspection, knowledge of the product and processes, and sound judgment. These are temp to hire positions with excellent benefits!

The Automotive Assembly and Manufacturing Associates Associate will complete assembly of automotive seating units while maintaining good housekeeping, safety, quality and efficiency standards. They produce and deliver automotive seating for all major OEMs.

Warehouse Manufacturing Associate Available Shifts
  • 2nd shift 8:30 pm- 5:30 am $19.10 hourly pay rate Sunday-Thursday some overtime required on Friday
  • Complete assembly of automotive seating units while maintaining good housekeeping, safety, quality and efficiency standards.
  • Performs line assembly and/or support operations to mass produce automotive seating units in accordance with specifications.
  • Builds parts in a specified manner according to the Operator Description Sheets
  • Develop proficiency in all production job functions and rotate in job cell into various work stations
  • Control processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected
  • Restock work areas as needed to ensure proper work flow
  • Monitor production material quantities and report shortages
  • Ability to lift and/or carry seating components frequently (Lift assist devices are provided).
  • Complete assembly of quality seating units
  • Walk, stand, reach, lift, bend, pull, push to move product through build process
  • Use of hand-held pneumatic tools, torque guns, ergonomic arms and other equipment to perform operations on the assembly line
  • Bolts, clips, screws, or otherwise fastens parts together
  • Operation of assembly fixtures
  • Problem solving of work place issues
  • Quality inspections of work in progress
  • Work as part of a team to ensure on-time quality product to our customers (internal and external)
  • Incorporate safe working procedures into all daily activities in and around facility
  • Understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Comply with company rules, policies, and practices
  • Attends and participates in regular plant and group meetings and activities, to include regular exercise/stretching
  • Any and all other tasks as assigned by any member of management
  • Authority and responsibility to stop the production line should a safety or quality issue appear
