Duties

  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process clearly, ensuring comfort, and maintaining a professional, empathetic approach.
  • Maintain strict aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and prevent infections during imaging procedures.
  • Document all procedures meticulously, including patient information, imaging details, and technical notes in medical records.
  • Assist in specialized areas such as maternal-fetal medicine or diagnostic radiology by applying advanced sonography skills.
Skills
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to identify key structures during imaging procedures.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology to accurately document findings and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
  • Experience with obstetrics/gynecology (Ob/Gyn) ultrasound procedures, especially maternal-fetal assessments.
  • Familiarity with medical imaging principles, including diagnostic radiology standards and techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly to patients and collaborate seamlessly with medical staff.
  • Ability to apply aseptic techniques diligently to maintain a sterile environment during examinations.
