The West Plains R‑VII School District is currently seeking highly qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Principal at West Plains Elementary for the 2026‑2027 school year. West Plains Elementary houses approximately 750 students in grades PK‑4. The school has a rich tradition of excellence.
Successful candidates will possess leadership skills that assist the principal and support the building in overall administration and development of a positive and productive school culture. Candidates should have a working knowledge of Professional Learning Communities, Missouri Learning Standards, Response to Intervention, and School Wide Positive Behavior Support Systems. The successful candidate will also be able to interpret and utilize data to support decisions and determine the effectiveness of programs.
