Logistics Supervisor

We are seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily logistics and distribution operations, ensuring efficient movement of goods, accurate inventory control, and on‑time delivery. This role partners closely with warehouse, transportation, and customer‑facing teams to support operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement.

• Supervise day‑to‑day logistics activities, including shipping, receiving, and distribution
• Ensure schedules, workflows, and staffing plans align with service and productivity goals
• Monitor KPIs related to on‑time delivery, order accuracy, and cost efficiency

• Oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities
• Coordinate storage, handling, and material flow to optimize space and throughput
• Address discrepancies, damages, and shortages promptly

• Coordinate with carriers, 3PLs, and internal transportation resources
• Resolve shipment issues and delays while maintaining service levels
• Support rate reviews and cost‑control initiatives

• Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
• Promote safe work practices and support safety audits and training

• Train, coach, and schedule logistics staff
• Foster a collaborative, accountable team culture
• Support performance reviews and continuous development

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience in logistics, distribution, or warehouse operations
• Prior supervisory or lead experience
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Proficiency with WMS/TMS and Microsoft Office

• APICS (CPIM/CSCP)
• Lean or Six Sigma
• OSHA safety training
