Position

Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver at Ryder in West Palm Beach, FL.

• Weekly: $1,400+ per week
• Hourly: $20 per hour
• Hours per week: 60+ (overtime after 40 hours)
• Safety bonus: $200 quarterly
• Paid training
• Schedule:
  
  Monday–Friday, start 5:00 AM

• Deliver SOLO within Florida
• Route: local home daily
• Tractor type: day cab
• Trailer type: flatbed (flatbed experience required 1 year)
• Forklift experience required 6 months
• Endorsements: hazmat within 90 days of hire (Ryder reimburses and trains)

• Ensuring compliance with federal/state laws, regulations, and agency rules
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
• Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting as required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Minimum 21 years old
• Pass Ryder drug test, background and motor vehicle check (including previous employers for last 3 years), DOT physical, Ryder road test
• Class A CDL with endorsements; verifiable experience:
  • ≥9 months within past 3 years
  • or ≥2 years within last 5 years
  • or ≥5 years within last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
