Assistant Aquatic Educators at Small Fish Big Fish Swim School will conduct swim lessons for clients of various ages and skill levels. Educators may also perform ad‑hoc business‑related duties.

Part‑time (Weekends Only):
Saturday & Sunday 8:00 am – 3:00 pm.

• Organize and instruct individual students and small groups in swim lessons and aquatic safety.
• Teach children from babies up through six levels of learn‑to‑swim courses (guppies, minnows, goldfish, barracudas, dolphins, sharks).
• Lift and maneuver students to demonstrate proper technique.
• Follow Small Fish Big Fish methods and techniques for daily instruction.
• Represent the company at community events by educating potential clients on water safety and drowning prevention.

• Must be able to work a minimum of two weekdays (Monday‑Wednesday, 2:30 pm – 8:30 pm) and at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday, 8:00 am – 3:00 pm).
• At least one year of experience working with kids or in swim instruction, education, and/or aquatics.

• Touch as many lives as possible through positive and fun in‑water learning experiences.
• Develop and strengthen individual mental and physical health through swimming.
• Educate the community on the dangers of childhood drowning and provide ongoing prevention education.
• Instill a lifelong love of the sport of swimming.

• Walk and stand for long periods.
• Squat, bend, reach, and climb frequently.
• Lift up to 50 pounds frequently.

• Work is primarily conducted in a water/swimming pool setting.
• Water temperature may fluctuate slightly.
• Occasional walking on slippery surfaces or surfaces covered with gymnastics equipment.
• Noise level is frequently loud.
