Join our team as a Maintenance Technician responsible for the operation and maintenance of interior and exterior lighting, kitchen equipment, swimming pools and equipment, ice machines, air conditioning equipment, plumbing, fire control equipment, and guest room repairs. You will:

• Perform all assigned preventative maintenance work according to the PM program.
• Perform all assigned work requests on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Follow specifications, blueprints, manuals and schematic drawings for installation, maintenance and repair of structures and equipment. Use hand and power tools, precision measuring and testing devices to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Dismantle equipment and install working parts on malfunctioning equipment.
• Make repairs to masonry, woodwork, furnishings, plaster, walls, ceilings, and trim; install flooring as needed.
• Maintain a log of all work performed, including parts used, and follow work order procedures.
• Record utility readings and maintain current readings in the maintenance office.
• Clear clogged drains and replace plumbing fixtures; connect water supplies and drainage pipelines; perform simple wiring and maintenance repair.
• Address work requests on electrical and mechanical equipment; remedy guest complaints within 15 minutes and escalate as needed.
• Report daily maintenance concerns to the Director of Engineering and participate in fire/emergency response as assigned.
• Lift and move items up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods; follow life safety procedures and uniform standards.
• Provide the highest quality service to guests and perform other duties as deemed necessary by management.

• Experience in a maintenance role at a hotel or resort.
• Knowledge of household repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Engaging and welcoming personality with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills.
• Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push/pull throughout shift; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
