Al Packer Ford located in West Palm Beach is seeking an experienced

Ford Certified Diesel Service Technician to join our high-performing service department. This is a great opportunity for a motivated diesel tech who takes pride in their work, wants to grow professionally, and enjoys being part of a stable, family-owned dealership with a long-standing reputation for excellence.

As a Diesel Technician, you’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain medium- and heavy-duty Ford diesel vehicles in a fast-paced, well-equipped shop. If you’re passionate about diesel systems, committed to doing the job right the first time, and eager to continue developing your technical expertise,we want to meet you.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel vehicles and equipment

  • Review job orders, assess concerns, and determine repair procedures

  • Inspect protective guards, safety components, and hardware; make adjustments as necessary

  • Test-drive vehicles to verify successful repairs

  • Tag and return all warranty parts in accordance with Ford processes

  • Stay current through required training and Ford technical bulletins

  • Accurately complete repair orders and all related documentation

  • Follow all safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, and published procedures

  • Keep your workspace clean, organized, and professional

  • Return customer vehicles in clean condition

  • Collaborate with service team members to meet production goals

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Service Management

What We’re Looking For
  • Ford Certification preferred

  • Previous Ford dealership experience strongly preferred

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to high-quality work

  • Strong teamwork and customer service mindset
