** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.

+ Screen employees, visitors, and vendors using walkthrough metal detectors, hand wands, X-ray equipment, and visual inspections of permitted items per post orders.

+ Control access by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, directing foot traffic to appropriate checkpoints, and documenting entries, refusals, and prohibited items.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including activating notifications, requesting assistance, and completing required incident documentation.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, entrances, and nearby perimeter points as assigned, watching for conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or have a college degree.

+ Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.

+ Be 21+ years of age.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
