Armed Security Officer (Overnight, Part‑Time) – West Palm Beach

As an Armed Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all guests and staff. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety of the venue and to manage any security incidents in a calm and effective manner. This role requires individuals who are vigilant, detail‑oriented, and can handle high‑pressure situations professionally.

• Monitor and patrol the premises to deter potential threats or disruptive behavior.
• Enforce venue rules and regulations while maintaining a friendly yet authoritative presence.
• Respond promptly and effectively to security breaches, disturbances, or emergencies.
• Manage and de‑escalate confrontations or altercations, using appropriate tactics and communication.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age.
• Conduct pat‑downs and searches of guests.
• Maintain a secure environment for guests and staff, ensuring the premises remain free from unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular security checks, ensuring all entry and exit points are properly secured.
• Prepare reports on incidents or security breaches, as required.

• Valid G license is required.
• Valid D license is required.
• Valid FL DL is required.
• Must be able to provide a tactical vest, duty belt, and firearm that the applicant is qualified in.
• Must be able to work from 10pm-6am on Friday and Saturday nights.
• Proven experience as a security guard, law enforcement officer, or in a similar role, preferably in a nightclub or high‑energy environment.
• Ability to stay calm and think clearly in stressful or emergency situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit, with the ability to stand or patrol for long periods.
• Must be reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of conflict resolution and de‑escalation techniques.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.

• Previous experience in nightclub security or other nightlife venues.
• CPR and First Aid certified.
• Speaking Spanish is a plus.

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
