Job Summary: The Account Manager is responsible for leading and nurturing assigned customer relationships while driving exceptional service quality, strategic pricing oversight, and sustainable sales growth. This role requires strong relationship-building capabilities, frequent field engagement, and ongoing collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.

Serving as the primary point of contact for all assigned customers, the Account Manager ensures accurate and timely pricing, proactively resolves issues, and supports company-wide sales, marketing, and operational initiatives.

Essential Functions:

• Administer and manage customer accounts, including distribution, pricing, and promotional executions.
• Maintain strong, ongoing customer relationships to support account retention and growth.
• Conduct field visits at least twice weekly to assess customer needs, gather market intelligence, and reinforce partnerships.
• Communicate with customers daily to enter orders, answer inquiries, and conduct research as needed.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Prepare accurate quotes, contracts, and RFP/RFI responses for prospective customers, ensuring pricing reflects current market and corporate guidelines.
• Maintain and update quotes with correct pricing and product details.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in restaurants, wholesale, or related industries.
• Knowledge of food products and food preparation preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to travel locally to visit customers requires a valid VI driver’s license.
• Must hold a valid Health Card.
• Strong, persuasive, and influential abilities.
• Ability to develop and deliver presentations, as well as create, compose, and edit written materials.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Physical demands include bending, keying, listening, reaching, seeing, standing, walking, and driving.
• Requires medium lifting with occasional heavy lifting (up to 60 lbs.) and the ability to carry loads up stairways.
• Regular use of standard equipment, including calculators, computers, printers, photocopiers, telephones, hand trucks, and other related tools.
