In addition to delivering exceptional service, Cashiers ensure accurate pricing and transactions, playing a key role in protecting the store's profitability and operational integrity.

As a Cashier Associate, you'll develop strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills while learning front-end operations and cash-handling procedures. Routine Tasks:

• Deliver customer service that meets the Joseph's Classic Market standard
• Weigh, scan, and accurately ring up products
• Accept various forms of payment and provide correct change
• Handle cash, credit, and other tender types with accuracy
• Bag products efficiently and safely
• Keep the register area clean and organized at all times
• Assist with other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Prior cashier or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic math and reading skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude
• A passion for serving people

Physical & Work Environment:

A Cashier Associate primarily works at a register station. This role involves standing for prolonged periods, repetitive arm and hand movements, moving and lifting products, and continuous interaction with customers and fellow team members in a fast-paced retail environment.
