WHO WE ARE
The Salty is an artisan donut shop that focuses on chef-made, craft donuts that rotate based on seasonality. We use nothing but the highest quality ingredients and make everything in house. Naturally, we don’t use any artificial ingredients in anything we make. If we wouldn’t serve it to our own family, we wouldn’t serve it to yours. Coffee? Yep. We serve Intelligentsia Coffee and have crafted a coffee menu that pleases all palettes.
Our obsession with guest service aims to create an environment that is an escape from the everyday.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The Salty is a fast-paced, team-oriented operation in both the back and front of the house. The management team leads by example, communicates openly, and collaborates with the team. There’s no “I” at The Salty. We all work toward making The Salty the most delicious donut shop and a benchmark in experiential F&B. Ambitious? Yes. Impossible? No. Let’s get to work and absolutely CRUSH it!
THE JOB
Store Managers oversee everything within their store—FOH to BOH, salary to hourly. The Store Manager balances being an advocate for their team with owning and driving business KPIs (P&L results, guest sentiment, sales growth, delivery and catering) while supporting operational practices, core values, and company culture.
All Guest Experience Team Members, Key Holders, and Assistant Store Manager report to the Store Manager; all BOH positions indirectly report to the Store Manager as well. The Store Manager ensures the BOH operates at an optimal production cadence, maintains product quality and cleanliness standards, and instills company core values across all positions. To be successful, a Store Manager accepts accountability for the duties of their position.
This position reports directly to the Regional Manager of the assigned store.

ABOUT YOU
- 4+ years experience in a management capacity in hospitality and/or food & beverage
- Managed and developed 10+ team members per shift
- Experience in Food Safety + Planning;
Food Safety Certification required or ability to obtain within first 90 days (Serv Safe Manager’s Certification) - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, directing teams and remaining calm under pressure
- P&L, COGS, Understanding Budgets, financial planning and strategy, labor/scheduling, training & team development
- Experience with off-site catering is a plus
- Hiring, training and scheduling a catering team to maximize sales opportunities and community connections
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks (food, beverage + labor cost) while maintaining standards
- Excellent communication skills for dealing with diverse staff
- Coachable with a growth mindset
