Athletics Groundskeeper

Job Location and Schedule

Palm Beach Atlantic, 901 South Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach, FL 33401. Online applications only.

Schedule:

Full time, Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. Further details provided during the interview.

Plans and administers grounds and plant maintenance programs, including growing schedules and propagation. Performs various tasks related to care of grasses and plants, trims, prunes, removes scrubs, bushes and trees, and conducts general janitorial duties including property inspections, landscaping, and grounds maintenance.

• Assist with proper setup for practices and games and work scheduled athletic events.
• Assist in field renovations including grading, sodding and irrigation repairs.
• Follow direction of the Athletic Turf Field Manager for management of athletic fields and venues.
• Provide quality customer service to stakeholders.
• Inspect common areas and report deficiencies to Athletic Turf Field Manager.
• Mow lawns weekly during appropriate season; clean landscaping tools and equipment after use.
• Trim bushes to maintain neat appearance and desired shape.
• Weed flowerbeds weekly or more often as needed.
• Contribute to team, facilitate good customer interactions, and exhibit professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Valid non‑CDL Class C driver’s license.

Pay Range: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour.
