Job Overview
Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity – Night Shift. Seasonal night position at Wellington Regional Medical Center, a 235‑bed community hospital in Wellington, Florida, part of Universal Health Services (UHS). The role involves providing safe, competent nursing care in an acute‑care setting, with a focus on patient‑centered care.

- Graduate of an accredited or NLN‑approved RN program
- Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in an acute care setting
- Current Florida nursing license
- BLS (current upon hire)
- ACLS and/or required specialty training or course completion (or obtained within three months of employment) in required specialty
- Must successfully pass any pre‑employment assessment(s) required by the facility
Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Demonstrates service excellence standards at all times. Recognizes the signs and symptoms of stroke and initiates a stroke alert procedures, performs and documents NIHSS and bedside swallow, assists with telemedicine consult and physician examination/evaluation of thrombolytic therapy inclusion/exclusion criteria, monitors and administers thrombolytic therapy if patient is a candidate, prepares patient for endovascular treatment, maintains stroke knowledge by completing NIHSS training and a minimum of 8 hours of stroke related training annually.
