• Deliver and evaluate nursing care to designated cardiovascular patients under the direction of the Director or designee.
• Act as a team leader and facilitator, communicating with other health team members.
• Monitor patients closely for complications and administer medications, including moderate sedation.
• Document procedures and may circulate or scrub into procedures.
• Evaluate learning needs of patients and/or families, providing age-, culture-, and condition‑appropriate education.
• Effectively delegate patient care to ancillary personnel.
• Precept student nurses and new hires as needed.
• Work independently in a fast‑paced, critical‑care environment, taking call for emergent procedures with a 30‑minute arrival requirement.
• Follow hospital policies and procedures and perform all other duties as assigned.

• Licensed Registered Nurse, State of Florida
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification within 3 months of hire

• At least one year of nursing in a critical care setting (e.g., ICU, ED, Trauma).
• Preferred:
  Three years of critical care experience.
• Preferred:
  Prior experience in procedural areas (e.g., Cath/IR/EP/Neuro).
