Systems Engineer
Responsibilities
- Design and install the equipment used in transmitting broadband data over in-building networks
- Work with coax, twisted pair copper or fiber optic cabling and complex networks as well as switching equipment
- Coordinate installation of new in-building networks or equipment
- Evaluate multi-tenant (residence and business) buildings to determine compatibility with different networks and systems
- Manage large build projects involving broadband services, and ensure timely planning and implementation
- Produce technical documentation to determine build feasibility for candidate properties for broadband services
- Provide general ad-hoc operational support for local field engineering and sales teams
Payrate: $58.00 - $62.00/hr.
Must Have Skills- General knowledge & experience with the design and installation of in-building network architecture
- General work area hazard identification & prevention
- Knowledge & experience with CATV provider termination points (e.g., terminals, pedestals)
- Knowledge & experience with Google Suite and other computer and mobility-based applications
- Frontline experience with working with customers/clients
- Must have a four-year college degree or equivalent field experience
- 5-7 Years of experience
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $58.00 - $62.00/hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
