MIG Welder – Fabrication & Repair (Construction Equip - Chutes)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.) + OT to 5:00 pm / Saturdays

As a MIG Welder, you’ll work closely with our shop and production team to fabricate and repair equipment used in the construction and waste industry.
Key responsibilities include:- Perform MIG welding on steel components
- Fabricate and repair chutes, floors, rails, packing blades, and structural components
- Repair and maintain roll-off, front-load, and rear-load containers
- Cut steel using plasma cutter or torch
- Fabricate components for trucks, compactors, and containers
- Paint repaired or newly fabricated containers as needed
- Maintain welding equipment and shop tools
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Complete required paperwork and documentation
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications- MIG welding experience (steel required)
- Ability to read basic measurements and follow instructions
- Familiarity with shop tools and welding equipment
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work overtime when needed

Working ConditionsInside facility, outside environment exposed to weather and vibrations from trucks and maintenance facility. Occasional exposure to extreme weather conditions.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS- One year welding experience.
- Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D. certification.
- Valid driver license.
- Push, pull, drag, and lift items up to 50 pounds, climbing ladder, and overhead reaching.
- Walking, Jogging, Twisting, Crouching, Lifting
- Sufficient stamina for steady work pace throughout the day
- Able to utilize all Personal Protective Equipment as mandated by company.
