The Site Director - Early Childhood Development (ECD) manages the daily operations of the Early Childhood Development program including implementation of program components, promotion of early childhood awareness, coordination of services, and strategic partnership development. Overall, the Site Director (ECD) contributes to the CHS high performance culture exhibiting our values and providing quality results that positions CHS as the leader in delivering proactive behavioral health, case management, community and early childhood solutions for children and families.

Primary Job Functions

1. Manage the daily operations of the Early Childhood Development program.

* Develop a localized system of care in the targeted geographical area including building and maintaining strategic alliances and key partnerships.

* Oversee and manage the effectiveness of the program key functions: coordination of services, engagement, outreach, education/awareness, partnership development and navigation.

* Supervise program and supervisory team members including regular individual and group meetings and case consultation.

* Develop core competencies, coaching plans, and orientation for program team members.

* Approve admission of clients to program; assign cases to program team members and oversee service delivery.

* Review and monitor case files for both internal and external quality assurance standards.

* Ensure services provided comply with contractual requirements.

* Liaise with community agencies such as community-based organizations, schools, service provider agencies, businesses, and municipal entities.

* Create and manage a communication plan for all site activities.

* Oversee all Triple P practitioners; regularly participate in peer support networks and regularly review work in peer support groups.

* Facilitate the coordination of services with various partners.

* Oversee the coordination of events/activities to be scheduled at program facilities.

* Oversee Triple P (evidence-based Positive Parenting Program) services so that all required staff receive training in Triple P.

* Ensure program supervisors and team members complete documentation and reports in a professional and timely manner.

* Assist in grant writing, contract negotiating or re-accreditation preparation.

* Manage program performance; maintain and generate necessary reports and paperwork in a timely manner.

* Provide direct supervision and casework in the absence of program team members.

* Responsible for verifying the integrity and seamless delivery of services on a day-to-day basis through supervision and performance monitoring in compliance with contract and CHS requirements.

* Attend program related trainings, programs, community meetings, and activities.

2. Recruit, develop and lead a team capable of supporting CHS performance and growth strategies (complying with COA Standard T3, when appropriate), while fostering an engaging, positive work environment.

* Recruit, supervise and support team members and foster their professional development, including the transfer of knowledge obtained through training.
