Position: Property Manager / General Manager

Oceanside Builders is a growing residential construction and property management company dedicated to delivering exceptional service and luxury experiences to our clients. The Opportunity

We’re seeking an organized, proactive Property Manager / General Manager to oversee multiple residential properties and serve as the primary point of contact for our clients. This role offers significant growth potential, including the opportunity to earn commissions on upsells beyond standard maintenance contracts at 1 year, and the chance to build and lead a small team as our business expands.

What You’ll Do Daily Property Management
  • Conduct property walkthroughs and inspections across multiple client homes
  • Create detailed daily logs and updates in Buildertrend, maintaining transparent communication with clients
  • Identify maintenance needs, repairs, and improvement opportunities
  • Ability to make recommendations for projects that enhance property value and client satisfaction
  • Comfortable discussing investment in home improvements and building client confidence in recommendations
  • Ensure each property receives the attention and care it deserves
  • Schedule and coordinate subcontractors for repairs, maintenance, and project work
  • Obtain quotes, secure client approvals, and manage project timelines
  • Oversee small teams (1‑3 people) on job sites as needed
  • Ensure quality standards are consistently met
Client Relations & Business Operations
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and our operations team
  • Deliver a luxury service experience that makes clients feel valued and cared for
  • Collaborate with operations and bookkeeping teams to ensure accurate invoicing and pricing
  • Handle client concerns with grace, professionalism, and effective problem‑solving
  • Identify and present upsell opportunities that genuinely benefit clients
  • Maintain organized, up‑to‑date client profiles and project documentation
  • Utilize Buildertrend and other technology platforms to streamline workflows
  • Contribute to building more efficient processes as we grow
  • Manage your workload effectively and communicate bandwidth proactively

Professional Skills
  • Experience in property management, construction, or related field preferred
  • Ability to conduct field inspections and identify maintenance/repair needs
  • Comfortable managing subcontractors and vendors
  • Budget‑conscious with understanding of project costs and pricing
  • Strong conflict resolution skills with a calm, professional demeanor
  • Self‑starter who can work independently while staying connected to the team
What Makes You Stand Out
  • Background in residential construction or property management
  • Experience with Buildertrend or similar project management software
  • Track record of delivering high‑touch, luxury client experiences
  • Proven ability to identify and close upsell opportunities
  • Leadership experience managing small teams
What We Offer
  • $65,000 – $80,000 annual base salary with opportunity to earn commissions on client upsell opportunities*
