Overview
BANK EQUIPMENT TECHNICIANS NEEDED IN WEST PALM BEACH, FL
Cennox is seeking a Bank Equipment Technician based in the West Palm Beach, FL area to cover equipment cleaning and maintenance work in West Palm Beach and surrounding areas. This is a full‑time position offering a flexible schedule, competitive pay, travel opportunities, paid training, equipment, mileage reimbursement, and the chance to join a rapidly growing company. Please note that using your personal vehicle is required for this position.
Responsibilities- Clean and detail exterior, update signage/decals, inspect electrical, perform minor refurbishments, and change light bulbs of Automated Teller Machines and Kiosks
- Remove nonstandard signage and other materials (e.g. stickers, posters, decals, graffiti, etc.) affixed to ATMs or the surrounding area
- Clean stainless-steel surfaces inside bank vaults
- Wipe down bollards as instructed
- Ensure the 10-ft radius surrounding machines is clear of trash before exiting the work site
- Complete project work which may include alarm surveys, ADA compliance inspections, software updates, site surveys, lighting measurements, and other inspections
- Sanitize all high-contact surfaces
- Regularly inspect and dry-wipe ATMs and drive-up banking equipment including surrounds and night depositories
- Take meticulous photographs of required devices, forms, and areas
- Organize and manage paperwork and inventory
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Smartphone familiarity and technical aptitude with strong mechanical/electrical skills and eagerness to learn new tasks
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and customer service skills and ability to interpret/execute written instructions
- Valid driver’s license with a driving record in good standing and a reliable/insured vehicle
- Previous work with electrical functions, general repairs, or similar fieldwork is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or apprenticeship is a plus
- Ability to lift/move 50 pounds or more, stand, climb, bend, stoop, and reach freely
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather and to sit/drive for extensive daily travel
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to carry and climb a 10-foot ladder
- Good hand/eye coordination, vision correctable to 20/20
