Duties:
Meet with clients and file lawsuits
Propound and respond to written discovery
Schedule and attend fact witness depositions
Retain and attend expert depositions
Schedule and attend hearings
Prepare for and attend mediations
Prepare cases for trial and try cases to verdict
Prepare and file appropriate post-trial motions
Attend file audits, litigation attorney meetings, and trial clinics
Requirements:
Active license to practice law in Florida (Required)
Experience as a personal injury litigator (Required)
Proven track record of winning personal injury cases, with a minimum of 2 jury trials as first chair (Required)
Ability to manage a large and active caseload from filing through verdict (Required)
Success in providing direction and guidance to a team of staff (Required)
Impeccable verbal and written communication skills (Required)
Analytical and research skills (Required)
Strong courtroom presence and eagerness to try cases (Required)
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school (Required)
Certifications:
Active membership in the Florida Bar (Required)
