Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Real Estate Attorney
Direct Hire | $70,000–$95,000 | Hybrid (3 office / 2 remote after 90 days onsite)
A leading commercial law firm is seeking two experienced Real Estate Paralegals to support its busy real estate practice. These roles focus heavily on commercial real estate transactions (80–90%), with some residential work.
What You’ll Do:- Manage commercial and residential closings from contract to close
- Review and analyze title commitments, surveys, lien searches, estoppels, and zoning
- Prepare closing disclosures, settlement statements, deeds, bills of sale, affidavits, and loan documents
- Coordinate due diligence, track critical dates, and maintain closing checklists
- Communicate with clients, lenders, agents, and all parties involved
- Resolve title and survey issues and coordinate funding/disbursements
- E‑record documents and issue title policies
- Review leases and abstract key provisions
- 5+ years of real estate paralegal experience in a mid‑size or large firm
- Ability to handle 25–30 active closings at once
- Experience reviewing surveys and articulating issues to attorneys
- Soft Pro experience is a major plus
- Strong tenure (4–6 years at firms preferred)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience with state/county real estate laws and customs
