Infrastructure Project Manager

Description We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee large-scale IT infrastructure initiatives within the healthcare industry. This long-term contract position is based in West Palm Beach, Florida, and requires a strategic leader who can manage complex projects while driving results in clinical and hospital environments. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strong communication abilities to ensure seamless execution of infrastructure upgrades and modernization projects.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage IT infrastructure projects, including data center modernization, network deployments, and security implementations.

- Oversee infrastructure upgrades and migrations to enhance operational efficiency.

- Collaborate with vendors to negotiate contracts, ensure timely delivery, and manage performance.

- Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost control measures.

- Utilize project tracking tools to build dashboards and executive-level reports for leadership.

- Operate within structured IT governance frameworks to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.

- Escalate issues and manage risks effectively to maintain project timelines and quality.

- Coordinate cross-functional teams across infrastructure, applications, and security departments.

- Present project status updates to leadership and steering committees with clarity and precision.

- Ensure all project objectives align with healthcare-specific requirements and standards. Requirements - 8-10+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on IT infrastructure.

- At least 5 years of experience managing IT infrastructure projects in the healthcare industry.

- Proven expertise in data center operations, network technologies, and structured cabling.

- Familiarity with clinical environments and hospital systems.

- Strong skills in vendor management and contract oversight.

- Proficiency in project tracking tools and creating executive-level reporting views.

- Knowledge of IT governance models and risk management practices.
