The Systems Analyst reports to the Client Server Technology Manager in the Information Technology (IT) department. The position is responsible for the end-to-end deployment of secure hardware and software solutions for the Solid Waste Authority’s (SWA) information technology needs. Emphasis will be on daily administration of existing controls, researching, recommending, implementing and documenting solutions to solve a variety of networking and security needs within the Authority's information systems environment.

Extensive knowledge of, and four or more years’ experience supporting, implementing, administering and advanced troubleshooting various systems involving Microsoft Client and Server products including:
Microsoft Configuration Manager, WSUS, Azure, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 CoPilot and Email messaging systems. Data protection technologies including end point protection with EDR, system backups, DLP, virus/SPAM/malware/etc., Network prevention technologies and security controls including Network Access Control (NAC), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and vulnerability management. Cybersecurity methodologies including Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) concepts, practices, and procedures.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with coursework in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related field; and a minimum of four years progressive experience in Information Technology in the following areas: research and development, network implementation, support and maintenance, cybersecurity controls, vulnerability management, and network installations/support.
